Was asked to act as a local tour guide last weekend and I thought why not ? The weather forecast was looking good and I could not make any excuses to pull out the Fuji X Pro 1 and nut out some street shooting.
Challenged myself with the 35mm (or 50mm equiv) and here are some samplers
First stop was Pitt Street the usual buskers were on show. One of many drummers on show, this was followed by Bondi Beach. I hanged out near the bowl as I was curious to see how the camera performed in sports. It did not let me down, but nothing was going at real speed. Then lucky enough to bump into a very talented "man's best friend". It was a great site to see them passing the ball like the good old days with a hacky sack. It was then off to the Observatory Hill.
The next day headed out to sea to see some whales, unfortunately I do not own a 55-200mm for the Fuji and the boat wasn't quite close enough to capture the moments. It was a beaut day as you can see from the skies.
