This was a fortunate and unfortunate part of my trip. After chilling out in Maui, it was time to move on to work ?!?! That's right my real job sent me to Virginia for a couple of days training (not photography) and well I ended up going to the White House, so it was worth it.

After spending 38 hours in the air or in transit with no real sleep, I landed into DC and headed straight to my hotel in Reston. I checked in and managed to catch one hour of Zzzz's before heading to training.

On the last day of training my colleague was kind enough to drive me out to DC. We saw the usual touristy things and I have to say although we froze our backsides off I quite enjoyed seeing all the sites.

If you ever have time I'd seriously go to the "Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum". The Discovery Space Shuttle is one of the most awesome things you will ever see.
